With all the traffic this blog has been recieving lately, I wanted to link to (what I view as) my most important post.
I was raised in a Christian home with conservative values (which I have since deviated from.) That said, as I got older, it didn’t take long before I saw discrepencies in the bible, what is preached, and the way we voted. It seemed a little too simple to say, “the bible says this is wrong, so no one in our country should be able to do it.”
Homosexuality was especially the concern. I began to wonder, what does the bible actually say, and what does that actually mean?
Here’s what I found:
