LOVED all the info on natural beauty care!
Do you use the baking soda “shampoo” and AVC “conditioner” on your 2-yr old?
Do you make your own deodorant too?
What do you use for eye cream? Just the coconut oil?

Hi Lauren! I do use this method on my daughter. I don’t often use the ACV rinse on her, as it can be irritating for a squirmy two year old, and her baby soft hair doesn’t need much conditioning anyway 🙂 I use Tom’s and Deodo Mom deodorants, and for eye cream I like cold-pressed castor oil. I put it all around my eyes, on my lashes, and as a follower of Ayurvedic practices I even let it get in my eye to reduce redness and dryness. Hope this helps!

Loving your tips and witty articles. I stumbled upon your blog today and am so excited. I needed that push to get my but in gear to keep my body healthy, happy and toxic free. Thanks!

You posted your blog on my birthday…sweet! 🙂 I was skeptical but I always want to know the truth so I at least had to read it. As much as anything your picture is worth 1000 words as your hair looks perfect. Incidentally, I think you look like my future wife lol. I used to live in Europe where my lady friends did not shave their underarms and gave some credence to the fact that they rarely get breast cancer. I have seen studies largely ignored in the hyper-hairless US that show a very clear link to shaving and using antiperspirants and cancer rates. If just amazes me how much we chemical up our bodies.

great post about ‘no poo’!! And some good stuff about other products (and their more natural alternatives) — hey we’re starting a platform where the public and non-profits can inform people about the products they buy… it’s a great way to link back to your content too. Here’s a video introducing the idea – email me if you want a invitation code: scott@theopenlabel.com
